I found that planning ahead for those times when I couldn’t sit down for a meal helped me to be successful. When I had to grab something and run I made sure there were plenty of options at my disposal. Many of us have the mistaken belief that we can avoid sugar by replacing natural sugar with artificial sweeteners. This is wrong! We also have the mistaken belief that fat-free packaged foods are good for us. After all, it’s the fat that causes us to suffer from high cholesterol. Again, this is wrong!
